Content Collections is currently available as an early access feature
Overview
Content Collections give users fine-grained control over the Trust Library content thats is used when running AI Questionnaire Assistance (AIQA).
Instead of using the entire Trust Library for every questionnaire, users can define curated subsets of content — called content collections — and apply them to specific AIQA runs.
This is especially useful when users are required to:
Restrict AIQA responses to content relevant to a specific compliance framework (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA)
Exclude older or internal documents when responding to external assessments
Tailor AIQA responses for different customer segments, industries, or product lines
Tailor AIQA responses to a specific deployment model
If no content collection is selected when running AIQA, all available Trust Library content for the selected Product is used.
Creating a Content Collection
Required role: Admin
To create a content collection:
Navigate to the Content Collections section on the Settings page.
Click Create Content Collection.
Give the collection a unique name and description.
A clear name and description is crucial so that users running questionnaires know how the collection should be used.
Configure the collection by choosing which content to include or exclude.
Users can filter by content type (documents, knowledge base entries, Trust Center items, etc.) and by tags applied to Documents and KB entries.
Save the collection.
Once saved, the collection becomes available for selection when running AIQA.
Tip: Users can also create a new collection by starting from a copy of an existing one. This is helpful when there is a need for a similar collection with minor adjustments.
Testing The Collection
Before saving, or at any time after, users can test a collection to verify it returns the right content.
This allows the fine-tuning of filters to add confidence before applying the collection to a real questionnaire.
Editing a Content Collection
Required role: Admin
Users can edit any existing content collection to rename it or update its content-type and tag filters. A few things to keep in mind:
Name changes take effect everywhere immediately.
Filter changes only apply to future AIQA runs. Any questionnaire that was previously run with this collection retains the results from the original filters, it is not retroactively affected.
Deleting a Content Collection
Required role: Admin
Deleted content collections can no longer be selected for future AIQA runs.
If someone attempts to retry autofill on a questionnaire that was originally run with a deleted collection, they'll be prompted to re-run using all available content or select a different collection.
Using Content Collections with AIQA
When users upload or open a questionnaire to run AIQA, they will be prompted to select a Content Collection.
Only one content collection can be applied per AIQA run. The selected collection filters content according to how you defined the collection. Any content not included in the collection, will not be used as a source to answer questions.
Using Content Collections with Trust Library Search
Content Collections can also be applied when searching the Trust Library. Whether using basic search or Ask AI, users can select one or more content collections to filter the results.
This makes it easy to explore what content lives within a given collection, or to quickly find answers scoped to a specific compliance framework or product area.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I don't select a content collection when running AIQA?
AIQA uses all available Trust Library content for the selected Product, which is the same default behavior as before content collections existed.
Can I apply more than one content collection to a single AIQA run?
No. You can select one content collection per AIQA run. If you need to use different collections for different questions in the same questionnaire, you can change the collection when retrying autofill on individual questions.
If I edit a content collection, does it affect past questionnaire results?
No. Changes to a content collection only apply to future AIQA runs. Past results are not retroactively modified.
Who can create and manage content collections?
Only Admin users can create, edit, and delete content collections. Admins and questionnaire managers can apply collections when running AIQA.
How do I know which content collection was used for a questionnaire?
The Questionnaire Details View displays the selected Product and content collection, so you always have a record of what content was used.
