Learn the ins and outs of editing your Trust Center

SafeBase allows you to proactively share your security posture and showcase that your company takes security seriously.

We allow you to show and hide certain cards and add more detail as needed. We will show you the basics of how to edit your Security Portal below.

You can edit your Security Portal at any time from the Security Portal tab on the left menu bar. To edit, show/hide or edit placeholder text on a specific card, simply click on the 3 dots located within that card.


Overview Card

This card allows you to give a general summary of your security program and you can add an email for your customers to contact you.

Click on the 3 dots to edit this content as shown below:

A side pop out will appear for you to add text. Make sure to click "Save" in the top right corner.

Compliance Card

This card allows you to showcase your compliance and capabilities. Make sure to click "Save" in the top right corner once you've added all the information for each section. Please scroll down to the bottom to make sure you cover everything.

You will be able to add the following for each item:

  • Public or Private Access

  • Maturity Level

  • Auditor

    • If there is any text in this field, Maturity Level will automatically display as Fully Implemented

  • Explanation

    • If there is any text in this field, Maturity Level will automatically display as Fully Implemented

  • File

Reviewed and Trusted By Card

This card allows you to showcase your key customers to build trust with potential customers who visit your Security Portal.

Start typing and you will see a list of companies appear. You can easily add more companies by clicking the "+" button.

Once you click "Save" in the top right corner, you will see each company displayed as shown below. This can be edited at anytime.

Documents Card

This card showcases all of the documents that you have uploaded throughout your Security Portal. You would not directly upload documents to this card.

You and your Security Portal visitors will be able to toggle between all, public and private documents and the public documents will show an unlocked icon as shown below.

Standard Trust Center Cards

The remaining cards will allow you to showcase the rest of your security posture. You will be able to edit each card based on the options given and show/hide any cards you want.

Each card will have 3 dots for you to edit or show/hide.

Once you click on "Edit", a side pop up will show up and you can edit any items within that card as shown below. Look out for the helpful examples below the text box.

Most cards will have the option for you to edit placeholder text. This allows you to add context to this card when you don't enable any card items within that card, but want to display this card on your Security Portal.

Here's how it will look on your public Security Portal.

If you decide to hide a card all together, you will see an eye icon with a line through it as shown below.


Trust Center Card: Item Statuses

Grey Circle: Maturity Level is "N/A" and this card item isn't visible on your Security Portal

Green Circle Arrows: Maturity Level is "In Progress" and this card item is visible on your Security Portal

Green Circle with Checkmark: Maturity Level is "Fully Implemented" and this card item is visible on your Security Portal
