Upgrading from Salesforce Managed App Beta

Guide on additional steps for organizations that had the beta installed previously.

With our 1.15 release, we made some changes to improve the performance and experience of the Salesforce Managed App beta that you may have been using recently.

After installing the upgraded package, you should also take the following steps:

Updating the Account Record Page

  1. From any Account page, click on the gear icon on the upper right and then Edit Page.

  2. Click on the top panel where the buttons are and find the Add to SafeBase button on the right.

  3. Remove any filters that may have been added previously.

  4. Remove the previous getSafebaseAccount invisible object from wherever it was in the Page Layout.

  5. Hit Save to complete the process.

Updating the Contact Record Page

  1. From any Account page, click on the gear icon on the upper right and then Edit Page.

  2. Remove any filters from the newly renamed Add to SafeBase button in the Account Record Page.

  3. Remove the getContactInSafebase invisible object that was added previously.

  4. Hit Save to complete the process.

Updating the Account Page Layout

  1. Go into Setup by clicking on the gear icon on the upper right.

  2. Use the search bar and go to Object Manager.

  3. Search for and click on Account.

  4. Find Page Layouts on the left and go to the appropriate Page Layout(s).

  5. Find the section that you previously had SafeBase fields in and delete the SafeBase: Contact Needed for Invite field.
