Email Deliverability Issues

From time to time, you may encounter issues with SafeBase email notifications failing to reach your customers', or your own organizations' inboxes. At SafeBase, we use a service called Postmark to get these emails delivered in a secure and timely manner. Other great companies like 1Password, Paddle, and Webflow also use this trusted service. If you are running into issues with emails, this may be caused by:

  1. A Postmark uptime issue. On occasion, as with all SaaS services, Postmark may run into delays when sending emails. Check the Postmark Status page to get the most up to date information on this.

  2. Some Secure Email Gateways such as Proofpoint and Mimecast may be configured to block emails from unrecognized senders. Please have your, or our customers', IT teams whitelist both our email domain, safebase.co, and that of Postmark's pm.mtasv.net.

    1. As a reminder, customers on our paid plan can also choose to have custom sender signatures that should further increase the chances of emails being delivered properly.
