Trust Center - Customer Self-Serve Questionnaire Submission

SafeBase customers have the self-serve ability to submit a questionnaire to the Trust Center.

Overview

When a customer is granted access to a Trust Center, they can submit a questionnaire on behalf of their account. Once submitted, an organization member will receive a notification and can download and view the submitted questionnaire.

If the organization is utilizing SafeBase AI Questionnaire Service (AIQA), processing can be started immediately.

Note: This feature does not display in Preview Mode. It only displays to authenticated users who have been granted access to your published Trust Center page.

Submitting a Questionnaire

Once access is granted, a customer can click the Submit a questionnaire button

Once clicked, we encourage customers to review the Trust Center documentation first.

If a questionnaire submission is still required, clicking the upload your security questionnaire will open an upload modal. If the Trust Center is multi-prod, the customer will be given the option to choose a product.

Note: Files can be submitted in .xlsx, .xlsm, csv or .docx file formats

If the customer clicks submit a link, a link submission modal will appear

Notifications

When a questionnaire is submitted, SafeBase will send a notification to a number of places:

  • Email - Admins will receive a notification that a questionnaire has been submitted

Only if enabled:

  • Slack - The Slack channel will receive a notification

  • JIRA - A task will be created

  • Webhooks - A webhook can be sent for all questionnaire submissions

  • Hubspot - A note will be created in the note section for the matching Company

Submitted Questionnaires - Account View

From here, organization members can start AIQA processing (If enabled), Archive, or download the questionnaire.

Disabling the Submit a Questionnaire Button

If the organization does not want to grant customers the ability to submit questionnaires, it can be disabled.

Navigate to the Trust Center Editor and in the top right corner, click Trust Center Settings

Click the Functionality tab, scroll to the bottom, and toggle the Enable Questionnaire Uploader option. The Submit a questionnaire button will be removed from the Trust Center.
