Overview

Access requests can be blocked based on specific email domains. This is especially useful for preventing access requests from competitors or known malicious domains.

When an email address from a blocked domain attempts to request access, either by clicking the Request Access button or interacting with a non-public document, an Access Denied message will appear.

Note: The color of the pop-up and the denial message will match the portal’s branding. The text displayed below Access Denied is fully customizable using markdown, allowing for the inclusion of hyperlinks or a support email.

Configuration

Navigate to the Accounts section in the Trust Center Settings and toggle on
"Block requests with specific email domains."

Add a list of domains to the Blocked Domains field and an optional message. The message can be previewed by selecting Preview Modal.

To view denied requests, go to the Accounts page, select View History in the top right corner, and filter for Declined. The history log retains information until it is manually deleted.
