Overview
To help teams streamline access requests, organizations can configure access request settings to automatically approve requests (based on certain requirements), block certain email domains, and configure access for a specific period of time.
Settings
In the Trust Center, navigate to the Accounts section of the Settings tab.
Automatically approve access requests
There are three options to configure how access requests are approved.
Option 1: Never (Default state)
All access requests require manual approval by the organization.
Option 2: If request meets conditions
Requests will be automatically approved and assigned to an account IF the request meets at least one of the following conditions.
Note: CRM-enabled options (like the Salesforce setting shown above) require a CRM integration, which is exclusive to Advanced and Enterprise plans. The Custom option is also associated with the CRM approval logic.
Option 3: Always
Requesters will be automatically approved and assigned to an account with their company name. If no account exists, requesters will be assigned to a new account. Accounts will be created with your default NDA provider.
Block Requests
There are two options to block requests.
Option 1: Block requests with non-work emails
SafeBase maintains a large list of known non-work email domains. If a net-new non-work email is identified, please reach out to support@safebase. The SafeBase team can add it to the list.
Option 2: Block requests with specific email domains

Limit Access
To limit approved domains to a specific period of time, you can set a default time range.
Note: If using this feature, don't be too restrictive, as it can cause additional manual work if an account loses access prior to completing their security review. Learn more about this feature here.
