Overview

Organizations can import multiple Accounts to the Trust Center in the Accounts page. This can be useful when migrating from a different Trust Center platform or when a significant number of existing customers need access to your Trust Center.

This is particularly useful when NOT using a CRM integration.

How to Bulk Import Accounts

Navigate to the Accounts page and click the Import button.

Two options are available: Import Accounts and Import Account Members.
โ€‹

  • Import Accounts - Import customers/prospects as Accounts in SafeBase. This step is recommended to be done first, or if adding individual account members is not required.

  • Import Account Members - Imports individual users as Account Members for existing Accounts in SafeBase. We recommend doing this step after all the Accounts have been imported.

Import Accounts

Once clicked, the import accounts modal will appear.

  • Data can be manually enteredย or uploaded as a file. Follow the prompts and make any necessary corrections. A template is available for download if needed.
    โ€‹

  • Once accounts have been added and reviewed, select Submit.

  • When the process is complete, a success message will show, and the new Accounts will be populated in the Accounts table.

Import Account Members

Once clicked, the import account members modal will appear.

  • Data can be manually entered or uploaded as a file. Follow the prompts and make any necessary corrections. A template is available for download if needed.

To prevent errors, please ensure that the Company Name column in your file to import matches the exact spelling of the Company Name for each Account.

If all the data was input correctly, a success message will show, and the Account Members will be in the appropriate Accounts.

Troubleshooting

  • SafeBase does not currently support Account import if there is already an Account with the same name. If there is a duplicate account, an error will show.

  • When adding company email domain(s), do not include the '@' symbol, only everything that follows.

  • When adding a company name for Account Member import, if an error that an Account doesn't exist appears, please verify spelling, or create the Account first prior to importing the Account Member:
