Our recent acquisition by Drata hasn't just been a milestone—it's been a launchpad for innovation. Our product team has been working around the clock, not only advancing our robust roadmap but also seamlessly integrating Drata's platform into SafeBase so it was live on day one of the announcement.
With Drata’s additional support, we have unlocked even more resources to drive innovation for our Trust Center and AI Questionnaire Assistance products. We will continue offering our customers the latest optimizations, new features, and developments to streamline workflows, help you build customer trust, and prove your team’s ROI to the business.
⚡️Drata + SafeBase Integration Highlights ⚡️
SafeBase now integrates with Drata, giving customers a seamless way to sync security policies, monitored controls, and company metadata into SafeBase. With this integration, customers can enhance AI-powered Questionnaire Assistance (AIQA) by sourcing accurate, verified data directly from Drata.
Highlights
→ Sync Security Policies: Automatically bring published policies from Drata into SafeBase. These policies are stored as documents in the Trust Library and can also be used in the Trust Center to simplify security reviews.
→ AIQA-Powered Control Syncing: SafeBase now syncs monitored and ready controls from Drata, making AIQA smarter and more accurate. When answering security questionnaires, AIQA will reference these controls and cite Drata as a source, ensuring responses are verifiable and aligned with real-time security data.
→ Company Metadata for Smarter Responses: AIQA can now pull in company metadata from Drata, enabling more contextually aware and precise answers. By using Drata as a data source, SafeBase ensures security teams provide consistent, audit-ready information at scale.
→ Trust Center Access in Drata’s VRM: Drata’s Vendor Risk Management (VRM) system now includes a SafeBase Trust Center icon in vendor listings. If a vendor has a SafeBase Trust Center, Drata users will see an icon that links directly to it. This applies whether the vendor was manually added, imported, or suggested within Drata. Drata users can also manually set Trust Center links, giving them more control over how vendor security information is shared.

💡 Introducing Productboard - New Feature Request Board

✅ Trust Center Updates
Google reCAPTCHA Removed for Cloudflare Organizations
We have removed Google reCAPTCHA for organizations using Cloudflare, replacing it with Cloudflare’s bot detection and Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules. This improves privacy compliance, reduces false positives, and enhances user experience without sacrificing security.
Customer Impact
Less friction: Users no longer need to deal with reCAPTCHA-related blocks.
Better compatibility: Organizations with strict security measures (ad blockers, financial institutions, etc.) will face fewer issues accessing SafeBase.
Privacy improvement: SafeBase moves toward a more GDPR-friendly approach.
What should we do if a customer experiences access issues after this change? If a customer encounters issues accessing SafeBase, it’s likely related to Cloudflare’s bot detection rather than reCAPTCHA. They may need to check their internal IT policies or whitelist SafeBase if necessary. Direct them to their IT team or SafeBase support for further troubleshooting.
Bulk Assign Responses to Specific Products
Bulk Assign questions and answer entries in your Knowledge Base to a specific product if using the Multi-Product capabilities within SafeBase.
Trigger Questionnaire Status Updates with Webhooks
Our new webhook allows SafeBase and customers to create custom solutions to receive updates about questionnaire progress.
Example: Customers using ServiceNow can provide updates to GTM in the ServiceNow ticket when questionnaires are in progress or complete.
Improve Navigation with Enhanced Visibility
Check out the new color contrast on text & icons in the Documents section of public Trust Centers (applies both to light & dark mode).
✅ AI Questionnaire Assistance Updates
Pipeline Upgrades for AI Questionnaire Assistance
All AI Questionnaire Assistance users can now take advantage of our latest AI pipeline. Gain additional functionality like multi-language support, use external websites as a source to answer questions, and retry answer generation for questions that may have failed. A reminder for all: SafeBase does not use customer data for training models.
Opt Docs Out of AI Questionnaire Assistance
Exclude certain documents from being a source for AI generated responses by opting them out in Document settings / behavior.
AI Questionnaire Assistance Comment Mode is now GA
Comment mode allows AIQA users to control when comments are added (and not added) to AI-generated responses on questionnaires. User can choose between 3 modes: a) Always b) Selectively and c) Never. The comment mode is set in the questionnaire settings and will impact all future AIQA runs. It will not change anything about previous AIQA runs.
AI Questionnaire Assistance UX Upgrades
Ready for a snappier, more intuitive interface to work on questionnaires? We’re eliminating unnecessary clicks to make simple tasks faster. Edit directly in the Answer / Comment box then make adjustments to approve, add due dates, tag assignees and more in the sidebar. Apply bulk actions quickly and filter views by assignee, approved, and answer status.

✅ Features and Functionality Updates
Enterprise Analytics Now Supports Currency Conversion in Salesforce [Beta]
Only available for Salesforce currency conversion, this new feature allows customers using USD as their main currency in Salesforce to convert analytics into different currencies for SafeBase reporting dashboards.

Document Expiration Notifications
If a document is expiring within 30 days, users will now receive an email every week until the document expires — keeping your team on track and your content fresh. Once the document has passed its expiration date, notifications will stop. If the expiration date is updated to a new date in the future, notifications will resume 30 days prior to that new date.
"Smart Abbreviation" for Revenue Figures in Analytics Dashboards
Revenue totals in Closed Won and Open Deal Dashboards now incorporate “smart abbreviation” which abbreviates number totals based on magnitude. Gain a faster, clearer picture of your team’s impact on pipeline and revenue goals.
Updates to Top Metrics Dashboard
In an effort to provide sharper insights, we’ve reworked the Top Metrics Dashboard. Aggregate top engaged documents by Document ID vs Document Title so you can change document titles without changing reporting. See which Top Engaged Card Items are capturing the attention of your customers and prospects, plus check out the new report, Top Engaged Documents, showing document engagements at the document level, not the item level.
Updates to Engagements Dashboard
You can now review all historical Trust Center access requests, denials, and approval rates so your team can better understand traffic and engagement, and ‘usage activities’ has been renamed to ‘customer engagements’.
SDFC Enterprise Analytics Data Syncs for Large Data Volumes
Large enterprise customers have a massive number of customer accounts in Salesforce making it challenging to keep data updated for Enterprise Analytics Dashboards. SafeBase now syncs data with increased reliability, scalability, and observability for high data volumes. If failures are encountered, syncs retry until successful.
