Submitting a Feature Request

How to request a feature, compliance item, workflow enhancement, etc.

Overview

While using the SafeBase platform, users may have an idea for a feature request. Whether it be a workflow enhancement, a recommendation for a UI update, a need for a new compliance item, or you simply have a cool idea for something we have yet to implement.

Regardless of the ask, our team loves feature requests!


Viewing the SafeBase Product Feedback Portal

SafeBase uses Productboard to host our SafeBase Product Feedback portal.

When logged into the SafeBase App, you can access the portal by clicking your name in the bottom left corner of the SafeBase app and selecting “Request a feature.”

On our Feedback Portal, users can:

  • Upvote feature ideas

  • Submit new ideas

  • View the status of highly requested features


Submitting Feedback

  • Read through the features displayed on the portal. If you want to submit an upvote, click on the relevant feature. Select an importance level and then provide information about what functionality you are looking for - the more detail the better.

The important level you select will help our product team prioritize features effectively

  1. Critical: Without it, we'd consider switching to another product

  2. Important: This would solve a major need

  3. Nice to Have: This would be cool, convenient, or useful

  4. Not Important: While this may be helpful it is not required to meet our needs

  • Want to provide feedback on a feature idea that is not displayed on the portal? Click the + Submit Idea button on in the upper righthand corner. Provide detailed information about your product feedback/feature request, the problem you are facing, and your desired outcome. Select your importance level, and Submit. The product team will review this feedback on a consistent basis.


If you are requesting a new logo or compliance item, please include a source website and a high-resolution copy of the item in .png format.

Notes: 

  • After a user submits a feature request, the SafeBase product team will notify you of any applicable updates to the feature.

  • Logos & Compliance Items have a monthly release cadence, when submitted, expect a 30-day or less turnaround.
