Share completed questionnaires to Salesforce

Use this feature to send a completed questionnaire from SafeBase to the linked Salesforce account.

Customers can now enable the ability to send completed questionnaires to Salesforce (SFDC). This feature lets you share a completed questionnaire from SafeBase to the linked Salesforce account. It is designed to close the handoff gap between the person completing the questionnaire in SafeBase and the sales or solutions team that works in Salesforce.

Prerequisite

  • Your SafeBase organization must be connected to Salesforce.

Additional Notes:

  • This feature is only available for completed questionnaires.

  • Portal questionnaires are not supported.

Enable sharing to Salesforce

  1. In SafeBase, go to Settings > Questionnaires.

  2. Turn on the setting for sharing completed questionnaires to Salesforce.

After this setting is enabled, sharing becomes available on eligible completed questionnaires.

If you do not see this setting, your organization likely does not have Salesforce connected in SafeBase yet.

Share a completed questionnaire to Salesforce

Once the feature is enabled, you can send a completed questionnaire file to Salesforce from the questionnaire itself.

  1. Open a completed questionnaire.

  2. Click Share.

  3. Select the Salesforce send option.

Re-share an updated questionnaire

If you make changes after a questionnaire has already been shared, you can share it again to send the latest completed file to Salesforce.

View share status

SafeBase includes a share-status view for Salesforce shares so you can review recent share activity.

When sharing is unavailable

The share action may appear disabled in some cases.

  • Sharing is disabled when the questionnaire's associated account is not linked to a Salesforce account.

What to expect after sharing

After you share a completed questionnaire, the file is uploaded to the linked Salesforce account. Uploads may take a few minutes to appear in Salesforce, so you may not see the file immediately after sharing.

Access to the uploaded file inside Salesforce depends on your Salesforce-side permissions and file visibility settings.

Troubleshooting

I do not see the setting in SafeBase

Make sure your organization has Salesforce connected. The setting only appears for customers with a Salesforce connection.

The Share button is disabled

Check whether the questionnaire's associated account is linked to a Salesforce account.

I shared the questionnaire, but it is not in Salesforce yet

Wait a few minutes and check the linked Salesforce account again. Uploads may take a short time to appear.
