Overview

After a customer/prospect has gained access to the private Trust Center, their access can expire in the following ways:

  • A user's access period has expired (this is configured under Settings)

  • A user's access was auto-revoked

  • A user's access was manually revoked

An account with Expired access:

Steps to Regain Access

To regain access, a user can click on the Request access button in the Access expired popup, or by navigating to the public Trust Center and clicking Get access.

For requests under manual review, this request will appear in the Accounts > Access Requests section. The hourglass icon explains that this user was previously granted access to help differentiate an expired request vs. a net new request.

Select the green checkbox and click Accept request to re-approve access.

For customers who utilize the SafeBase Bot for Slack, the access request will specify that this request is due to an expired access:

An account with access to the private Trust Center:

Once access has been re-approved, the user will receive an email notifying them that access has been granted. Once the user clicks on the magic link, they will be taken directly into the private Trust Center. An NDA will not be required because it was previously signed.

Auto-approving Accounts with Expired Access

For customers who have set up custom auto-approval rules, re-requests are now automated and go through the rules engine logic to determine whether a request is auto-approved.
