Overview
Most SafeBase customers will choose a default NDA provider setting of Clickwrap or DocuSign/Ironclad. However, there may be use cases where bypassing the NDA as part of the access request is preferred.
NDA Settings
The default NDA provider can be configured under Settings > NDA.
If the Clickwrap or DocuSign/Ironclad option is selected, a user from a newly approved account will be prompted to accept the NDA before they can access the private Trust Center.
There may be instances where bypassing the entire NDA flow is preferred for all approved accounts. An example would be if there is a separate process outside of SafeBase to ensure an NDA has been signed.
Selecting either "Signed Outside of SafeBase" or "No NDA" will bypass any NDA requirements when an approved user accesses the Trust Center.
Signed Outside of SafeBase
When "Signed Outside of SafeBase" is selected as the default NDA provider, an option to upload an existing NDA/agreement becomes available.
When the user receives their email with the magic link, they will be able to access the Trust Center directly without signing an NDA.
No NDA
When "No NDA" is selected as the default NDA provider, this will also bypass any NDA as part of the access request flow. However, there will not be an option to upload an existing NDA.
When the user receives their email with the magic link, they will be able to access the Trust Center directly without signing an NDA.
Editing an Account's NDA provider
There may also be times when the default NDA provider is set to Clickwrap or DocuSign/Ironclad, but this needs to be overwritten for a specific Account.
An example is if there are special terms or other agreements with the account, where it makes sense to skip the NDA as part of the access request flow.
To overwrite an Account's NDA provider, navigate to Accounts > the Account in question, then Edit.
