Overview

The SafeBase Trust Center provides a centralized view of a company’s security posture. Content is organized into categories to help customers and prospects quickly locate relevant information during the review process.

Public View - Prior to NDA Access

This is the public-facing page before access has been granted to an organization's private or gated documentation. Publicly available information is visible, while restricted content remains hidden until appropriate access is approved.

Request Access Flow

Visitors request access to an organization's Trust Center by clicking on the "Get access" button, which will prompt the user for additional information as seen below.

How Users Review the Content of a Trust Center

SafeBase's Trust Center organizes the content into 4 primary sections:

  • Documents

  • Cards & Items

  • Knowledge Base (FAQ)

  • Trust Center Updates

Visitors can either navigate directly to the documents section to find content, or can go into the Cards to find any relevant information.

When reviewing cards, visitors will find green checkmarks to indicate whether an item in that card has additional details.

By navigating directly to the documents section, visitors will see all the available documents that are publicly accessible or require access approval to view and/or download.

Subscribing to Trust Center Updates

Trust Center Updates are used for several scenarios. They can be a way for organizations to broadcast any updates regarding their Security Program, such as updated Access Control Policies or their new SOC 2 Type 2 Audit Report.

Other topics that have been popular amongst SafeBase Trust Centers are posting updates regarding the latest vulnerability exploits discovered to notify customers proactively.

Visitors can choose to opt in to receiving updates via email, by clicking on the Subscribe button at to top of the Trust Center update table, or by using the subscribe button on the far left side of the Trust Center

Search within a SafeBase Trust Center

There are 2 types of searches that can be performed in a SafeBase Trust Center:

  • Trust Center Search, which will search across Documents & Cards

  • Knowledge Base (FAQ) Search, which will search across all available FAQ entries

Visitors click into the "Search items" field and start typing to search for keywords or using a keyboard shortcut.

For Knowledge Base (FAQ) searches, organizations can make content publicly or post-access accessible, and it will be part of the searchable knowledge base.

Trust Center Conversations

This is an optional feature that may or may not be enabled for users.

SafeBase's Trust Center Conversations allows for your customers to reach out directly to the team managing SafeBase with any questions or comments they have regarding a card item, as seen below:

The team managing SafeBase will be notified via email of any new conversations and updates.
