The SafeBase Slack Bot is used to send notifications about the following events:

  • Access Request

  • New User Subscribed

  • File Downloaded

  • Account Access Denied

  • Questionnaire Uploaded

Setting up your Slack bot integration is easy and can be set up in 3 easy steps.

1. Click on Settings and scroll down to the Integrations section as shown below:

2. Click "Connect" next to Slack

3. Set permissions for the Slack integration and select a channel for notifications to be posted in. You may also choose to have the notifications be sent directly to a specified Slack user in a Direct Message (simply start typing the user's username). You will need a Slack admin approve the app at this step.

Note: By default, notifications will use @here in the specified channel or DM group. Please see this article on how you can customize the users or user groups that get notified with our Slack Bot.

Authorizations required by our Slack app

Once the above steps are completed, you will see the Slack integration enabled and you are ready to go!
