Feature/Functionality Updates
HubSpot integration
SafeBase now supports both a Salesforce AND HubSpot integration! With this integration, you can now sync activities on the SafeBase app to your HubSpot records. From access request, to account creation, document downloaded, and more -- its fast and easy to track and link with HubSpot. Want to learn more? Check out this help article here.
New custom property added within HubSpot integration
As we continue to deepen our HubSpot integration, we have added a custom property where admins can define which field to write to (and even include a link!). Now, for example, when a sales person gets an alert that a new contact has requested access - they can click directly on the link (in the alert) to see that account directly in SafeBase.

Hubspot Rules Engine
Our last release note announced the new HubSpot integration. Building on this momentum we now have a HubSpot rules engine. π
This allows customers with HubSpot to automatically approve requests and override NDAs based on custom rules using both standard and HubSpot-specific fields.
β
For example:
Auto-approve companies with a contract size above a threshold
Auto-approve anyone not marked as a 'competitor'
Override NDAs only if the NDA was signed in the last 6 months
Additional detail on setting up the integration can be found here. If you're interested in getting started with the rules engine, reach out to Customer Support.
Clickwrap NDA template
Want to use a Clickwrap NDA but unsure where to start? Have an NDA but want to revisit the language? Head on over to Settings > NDA > Clickwrap NDA and select 'Download NDA Template'. From this template, feel free to customize as needed.
βWebhooks: Knowledge Base entries
We've added a new webhook event to trigger when a Knowledge Base entry is created, allowing customers that subscribe to webhooks to monitor their org's Knowledge Base activity.
βAuto-Revoke Access Via Rules Engine
Now, SafeBase can automatically revoke Trust Center access when an account is no longer an active customer. That means no more manually revoking access when an account churns!
This feature is available to Enterprise customers that leverage SafeBase's Salesforce integration. To configure an auto-revoke access rule, reach out to your CSM.
'Job Title' added to Access Request flow
Organizations can now see who visits their Trust Center by collecting Job Title when a visitor requests access. Simply toggle this on in Trust Center Editor Tab > Settings (gear in top right) to start collecting this info, and see it populating on your Accounts page.
βBlock access requests
Block access requests from certain email domains - for example auto-deny access from your pesky competitor's domains. Please reach out to set up your blocklist, and once enabled admins can easily toggle this on and off.
Before Submitting a Questionnaire - New Prompt for Accounts to Review Documents
One of the goals of every Smart Trust Center is to reduce custom questionnaires. In support of this - we have changed the flow for those customers who have enabled the "submit a questionnaire" button.
Now, when a prospect or customer selects this button they will first see a prompt to "Please review our documents first". The previous functionality of course still exits (upload a security questionnaire or submit a link), but less prominently to help guide accounts to self-serve answering their security questions first.
TCU categorization
Now all TCUs (Trust Center Updates) will have a category! This makes it easier for all stakeholders to quickly learn what type of update is being published. Categories include:
Compliance - includes updates on new documents (for example new SOC 2 or Pentest).
Incidents - updates on new or ongoing vulnerabilities, as well as how / or how not your company is impacted.
Subprocessors - updates on new or removed subprocessors.
General all other updates, including 'welcome to our Trust Center' or other general security messages (not captured above).
How this works: When a new TCU is created, admins will now see a 'category' prompt and options. To note - SafeBase will be automatically tagging all your past updates. If you want to make any changes to these, you can easily edit the TCU directly.
Import Audience for Trust Center Updates
Better control over Trust Center Update audience? β
Admins can now import an audience - a CSV file of customer and prospect emails (who you have permission to email). This allows you to proactively share communication, whether it be a new uploaded document or a security incident, to the specific audience who needs to stay informed. Learn more about posting TCUs here.
