Table of Contents

SafeBase introduced several valuable improvements in December to enhance user experience and streamline workflows. Maintain content freshness, reduce load times, improve filtering, apply bulk tags, simplify workflow management, and more. We've been working hard behind the scenes and can't wait to hear about your experience with the latest updates.

Trust Center Updates

Improved Table Functionality

Check out new filtering for tags and assignees — helping you get to your desired view faster.

Bulk tagging of documents

Have a SME that needs to make updates, reviews or other actions to a series of documents? Apply bulk actions like tagging to streamline your workflow.

Optimized Org Member Page Performance

Load time of Organization settings page and Organization members is now significantly faster with more improvements on the horizon.

AI Questionnaire Assistance Updates

Semantic similarity KB matching for AI Questionnaire Assistance

When answering questionnaires, SafeBase explores the Knowledge Base for entries "similar" to the question asked as well as exact matches, improving answer quality.

Features and Functionality Updates

Slackbot - now supports Single Select + Multi-Select in Questionnaire Collaboration

Answer a wider array of questions right from Slack — single-select and multi-select type questions as well as free text type questions — giving your teams greater flexibility in the tools where they’re already working.

SafeBase user permissions can disable actions in the Chrome Extension

Demo here

The latest Chrome Extension version makes it very clear what actions a user can take and what they cannot based on their role in SafeBase.

Export Questionnaires as CSVs

Users can now export in-progress and completed questionnaires from portals as a CSV file.

Send Test Emails to Preview Branding

Ensure your brand look and feel is well represented by sending test email notifications in advance.

[Beta] Microsoft Teams: Approve/deny access requests from within Teams

SafeBase users can now accept/deny access requests directly in Teams without having to log into SafeBase. Stay in flow of work tools to make responding quick and easy.

[From Beta → GA] Knowledge base health reviews

Keep Knowledge Base content fresh by:

  • allowing users to assign a review status to Knowledge Base items

  • allowing users to assign a review cadence to KB items so that they are marked for review at some future date. Don’t miss next year’s review cycle!

  • Bulk actions to assign health status and review cadence

  • Support for health status and review cadence in bulk import flow

  • Notifications for when KB items reach their next review date

Bulk upload documents then easily link to Items in Document Profile page or Trust Center Editor

Bye bye back and forth between the Documents and Trust Center Editor windows. You can now bulk upload documents into SafeBase, then directly link documents to their respective Items from the Documents window OR use the search feature in Trust Center Editor to quickly find the documents you want displayed.

Forgot to upload something? Just use “Upload Document” within each Item to upload directly.

Pick from 3 different questionnaire comment modes - Always On, Selective, and Never

Some customers like to write comments on every questionnaire — whenever they are needed. Some never want to write comments — too much time lost. Others choose to be selective about commenting to avoid prompting follow up questions. Now you can choose when to respond…or not.

3 New Comment Modes:

  • Always - Want to giv e your high value customer extra care and the thorough information they need? Leave comments on every question for comprehensive answers.

  • Selectively - Only write comments if the answer to the question is "No", "N/A", or if the answer was copied directly from your knowledge base — extra context for specific scenarios.

  • Never - never returns a comment — keeps responses as short as possible
