AI-Powered Trust Item Descriptions

Creating a new Trust Center has become significantly faster. Our latest AI feature helps eliminate the manual work of writing descriptions for each Trust Item by generating suggestions based on your existing documentation and knowledge base.

What’s New

  • One-click AI generation: Select “Generate suggestion” on any standard Trust Item to instantly receive a suggested description based on your uploaded Trust Library content.

  • Smart document linking: Automatically recommends 3–5 relevant documents to include with each item, using the same sources that inform the description.

  • Full editorial control: Review, edit, or reject suggestions before publishing.

  • Product-aware results: For organizations with multiple products, the AI suggests content relevant to the Trust Item’s product context.

Requirements & Considerations

  • GenAI must be enabled in your organization settings.

  • Suggestion quality improves with more content in your Trust Library. (documents or KB entries).

  • This feature is available for standard Trust Items only. Custom or heavily modified items are not yet supported.

Improved Spreadsheet Questionnaire Imports with Sheet Selection and Auto-Mapping

Questionnaire imports now support sheet selection and automatic column mapping, allowing you to choose the correct sheet and verify column mappings before completing the import.

What’s New

  • Choose exactly what gets imported: Select specific or all sheets and exclude instruction-only or reference sheets to keep imports clean.

  • Automatic column mapping: Questions and answers are auto-mapped where possible, and you can always review and confirm mappings before finishing.

  • Guidance when mapping needs attention: Clear indicators show when auto-mapping isn’t detected for specific columns.

Note: This update applies only to spreadsheet-based questionnaires.


New Documents APIs

SafeBase now supports Documents APIs that allow customers to manage documents programmatically.

What’s New

  • Upload documents to SafeBase

  • Replace existing documents with updated versions

  • Delete documents that are no longer needed

  • Manage document metadata programmatically, including:

    • Assigning documents to Products

    • Controlling AI usage permissions (opt-in/opt-out)

    • Setting Document Types

    • Managing assigned Tags

    • Setting an Expiration Date

Important Notes

  • Requires Dev Resources: These APIs require developer resources and custom implementation. They are more complex to set up than our plug-and-play native integrations.

  • Linking Limitations: Currently, the API cannot link or unlink documents to specific Trust Center items. A user must log in to the SafeBase to perform that linking step to have them appear on the Trust Center.

  • Availability: Available to paid customers on Advanced or Enterprise plans.
